The group was founded in 1999 with the first enterprise, Bertani Gino, specialized in wooden constructions and dealing in wooden floor, door and window units. Over the years the entrepreneurial endeavors of Mauro Bertani has expanded through a series of initiatives in the ever-growing field of civil and industrial construction until reaching its current status.

The entrepreneur from Padua, Mauro Bertani, learned his job, together with its ethics and rules, in the field at a young age while working for his father’s firm, which had already been a leader in the wooden construction sector for 30 years. This experience gave him extensive know-how in construction and materials and Mauro Bertani applied it in search of innovation and entrepreneurship, which quickly led to expanding his business. He also spent six years on the board of directors of a credit institution which enabled him to develop considerable financial knowledge and approach the real-estate market with success. His group currently has investments in around forty companies in sectors focusing on the development of real-estate, construction, energy and entertainment.

Mauro Bertani sits on the Board of Directors of Assindustria Sport Padova and is a Board Member of the wood and furniture division of Confindustria Padova. He is also a member of Rotary Club Terme Euganee. In addition to his entrepreneurial and financial endeavors he also pays special attention to social issues by providing considerable support to cultural and sporting events and charity.
